DIY terrariums

That's it.  I want a terrarium.  Or two.  Or six.

She did a lovely *terrarium madness* tutorial on her blog back in August with fabulously complete step by step instructions.  I love when she refers to the completed terrarium as "your very own portable world of enchantment".  Darling. 

I'll start my hunting and gathering of supplies tomorrow and will be sure to post the finished product(s) soon.

jingle bells, jingle bells...

We were so inspired by lori marie's lovely glitter bells that we made some of our own. Mind you now, that the creative whimsy of a three & six year old is hard to contain so our bells are not quite as refined as lori's...but oh were they fun to make! Those are hers above. And here...are ours...

Not mine. Fabulous, but not mine. Remember the talented Lori Marie from *pretty little things* that I talk about over and over again? Well, she's done it again. This time it's called *shiny little things* and it just opened today. I'm loving her new products as well as the beautiful way she photographs them. I mean really, is that an upside down cupcake wrapper? Told you. Fabulous. You can be sure you'll find a steady stream of these lovely little shiny things in my favorites on Etsy...

Have I really not blogged here in five days? Yikes! Apparently I've been far too busy with the darn parenting part of my life. Luckily, I've got a few things up my sleeve, so I'll do my best to make up for it tonight...
