Mr. Toledano was better known as "Phil" when we met him in the NYC advertising world about 14 years ago. Now a brilliant photographer and clever writer, his website includes fashion photography as well as a unique selection of photo journals. In one collection he travels to bankrupt office spaces to capture the after-effect...in another he visits phone-sex operators to photograph & interview them in their home offices....and in yet another he attempts to elicit his subject's character while playing video games. But the most profound selection is a personal photo diary of his recent journey with his 98 year old father. It's beautiful and raw and truly inspiring.
